Poly Bridge takes an interesting gameplay concept and pairs it with a simply charming presentation. With all the building blocks in place, it seems like we’d have a great physics based puzzle game that allows freedom and creativity on our hands. However a rushed port with horrendous controls and a game altering bug turn this into an utterly frustrating experience on the Switch. It’s almost impossible to recommend in its current state, but with promised patches coming, all hope might not be lost.
Keep your eyes out for our thoughts on future patches/updates as they release.. The pacht let the controls more responsive, but you can´t compare with mouse. The game is much more depper than it looks. But it have some The pacht let the controls more responsive, but you can´t compare with mouse.
The game is much more depper than it looks. But it have some issue who looks unfinished. The car when fallen on water you not fell the water, this is very odd, it will be much more cool with you have atricto. When you change the camera on construction mode, the bridg is not in the right places, and it is very odd design decision. Anyway despat some issues the games is cool, fun and adicting.
Edit: They fixed many of the issues with the controls (in the docked mode where I played the game again after the update.) Now the game is Edit: They fixed many of the issues with the controls (in the docked mode where I played the game again after the update.) Now the game is totally playable & I have to admit I'm kinda ok with the 15$ I spent on it! Whenever I play in the hand-held mode I will reedit this review to fully reflect my opinion of the game! There's still one issue I find with controls & that is some of the controls on the top of the screen, which I find myself using quite often, don't have shortcuts on the controller nor they can be reached with directional buttons on the left joy-con so you have to constantly mouseover them; it gets annoying fast but doesn't even remotely renders the game unplayable!

Horrible control scheme in docked mode! Literally unplayable! Can't find the select menu to delete or copy parts in handheld mode! There are 12 buttons, 2 analogue sticks and 4 triggers on the joy-cons and this is the control scheme they decided to go with! Just disappointing! Was looking for this on the Switch for a while and bought it as soon as it came out; couldn't be more disappointed!
What a coincidence that the review below me absolutely hated the docked controls- I for one absolutely despise the handheld controls. What a coincidence that the review below me absolutely hated the docked controls- I for one absolutely despise the handheld controls.
Unresponsive as hell touchscreen- the controls that you are taught as the game holds your hand in the tutorial simply do not work in the actual game. Try splitting a point into two- nope, you can't! Try deleting individual pieces- nope, you have to select big sections and delete those! Want to just use the analog sticks and buttons like you might in docked mode instead? Nope, the game has no option and insists that it's horrendous touch controls are better. Maybe it might make more sense if the game actually had a mode to just tell you what the control scheme is, but it simply does not.
A great shame, as if this was handled Poly Bridge is a great game. Do not recommend it on Switch, however, go buy it for PC instead.
Awful awful control schemes - touchscreen mode is very fiddly and hard to use as the action takes place underneath your finger. Joycon mode is Awful awful control schemes - touchscreen mode is very fiddly and hard to use as the action takes place underneath your finger. Joycon mode is terribly frustrating. On top of which there are bugs galore - the most serious of which makes one of the early levels impossible to complete. Such a shame as this could have been a good game but it's been bungled.
Poly Bridge is a bridge construction simulator that can be downloaded for PC via Steam. The game is currently at the Early Access stage; that is, you can play it while the developers finish its completion. It's sort of like a demo, only you cannot try it for free. Put a bridge in your life I must admit that classifying Poly Bridge as a bridge construction simulator can make a lot of users go away from this review to search for apparently more exciting games, such as. Those who stay will discover a small jewel. Every level in Poly Bridge challenges you to build a bridge to help vehicles cross to the other side. It's more difficult than it seems, believe me; the Campaign is full of crazy challenges, from creating a trampoline-bridge for a motorcycle going at great speed to creating a two-story bridge in such a way that the top vehicle does not end up smashing up the lower one.

But the best thing about Poly Bridge is the Free Mode. In this mode, you don't have the movement limitations of the Campaign and you have all the materials at your disposal. Here are some insane things created by its users: Again, as with other games like, the user's creativity is the only protagonist. Do you know what's the best thing about the Free Mode? You can turn these crazy things into puzzles that the other users must solve. Who would have said that building a bridge would be so easy? The charm of Poly Bridge lies partly in its controls.
Building a bridge is easy: all you need to do is decide where to place the basic pressure points by clicking on the scenery, and then mold the bridge to your heart's desire by dragging the materials. There's nothing else to it. Titanfall keygen. With these controls, you can recreate your complex design in a matter of minutes. Ps2 iso. The physics in Poly Bridge are realistic to a certain degree. The bridges will behave in a logical way to the passage of vehicles or the structure you have built. But I find it difficult to see the differences among the multiple available materials.
Poly Bridge Free
I hope this detail is refined in future game updates. The bridge era Poly Bridge takes a concept as serious as building a bridge and turns it into an activity that's more entertaining than you expect. Create the type of bridge you want: suspension bridge, drawbridge, mobile bridge.
And unleash the crazy engineer in you. Downloading the game is worth it, even if it's still in Early Access format.
